What you'll do:
- Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 personalised learning in homes or community settings.
- Plan creative sessions tailored to each learner's strengths, interests and goals.
- Support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
- Encourage confidence, resilience and positive engagement with learning.
What you need:
- At least one year's experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs or other additional needs.
- Experience planning and delivering learning sessions, particularly around core subjects.
- Confidence using positive behaviour support, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies
- Update to date safeguarding knowledge.
- Availability for at least two consistent weekdays.

Skills Required
- Experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Qualified teacher, tutor, teaching assistant, SEN specialist, or other education professional.
- Background or experience in Primary, Secondary or Post-16 teaching or specialist SEND environments.
- Experience or interest in working with students with autism, communication needs, and learning difficulties.
- Minimum availability of two consistent weekdays.
- Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Willingness to undergo background checks including ID, Right to Work, employment checks and an enhanced DBS.
- Familiarity with Makaton, PECS, de-escalation, and behaviour management training.
