Job Summary:
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated specializes in providing a broad range of high technology solutions and products to the marketplace. Teledyne Scientific Company, the central Research Lab of Teledyne Technologies, is a cutting edge R&D organization with more than 60 years of legacy of new technology development and transition. The company has world class laboratories and facilities, and a highly dynamic, multi-disciplinary work environment.

Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) has an opening for a full time (40 hours a week) summer intern position in the Semiconductor Test and Measurement group in the Electronics Division starting June 2025 until September 2025.
 

Essential duties:

  • Create a new database and user interface to access legacy data

  • Contribute to the development of statistical data analysis for both legacy and current data

  • Work with team members to characterize advanced semiconductor devices and circuits.

  • Document and report on development efforts

Desired skills, experience, and qualities:

  • Some programming or scripting experience.  (Java, Python, Matlab, database languages, or similar)

  • Previous knowledge and experience using test equipment (parameter analyzers, network analyzers…)

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor devices (bipolar and field effect transistors) and process flows is a plus

  • Well organized and detail oriented

  • Good communication skills and inquisitive mind

  • Self-motivated and excels at working independently but isn't afraid to seek guidance when faced with challenges

Education:

Electrical engineering undergraduate students with at least one computer programming course completed

Citizenship Requirements

Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary Range:

$49,300.00-$65,700.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
