As a Product Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers. Product Engineers are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain characterization and qualification test program based on datasheet and customer specification

• Execute characterization runs to validate product and collaborate with various engineering teams to resolve issue encountered.

• Explore continual improvement in product characterization and validation methodology aligned with the growth in customer requirement and higher data rate supported.

• Monitor NAND performance during Assured Quality Level (AQL) testing during product development and qualification and perform failure analysis to root cause issue encountered.

• Automate program development and work processes whenever possible.

• Provide assistance to other groups while keeping the key deliverables of the team on track.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• At least 3+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Semiconductor Manufacturing are preferred.

• Proficiency in Python/C/C++, semiconductor physics, data analytics and statistics is required

• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English, including documentation and presentation

• Strong programming aptitude

• Knowledge of Automated Test Equipment and debug tools like oscilloscope and logic analyzer is a plus

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with careful attention to root cause

• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and self-development
