General Description:
We are seeking a candidate to conduct low-noise electrical measurements of advanced, semiconductor spin qubit devices at cryogenic temperatures.
Essential Duties:
The individual will develop and use novel measurement systems, test procedures, and software.
The individual will further analyze data, and organize, update, and summarize results.
The position requires frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting, a strong work ethic, enjoyment of problem solving, and a natural scientific curiosity
Required Skills:
Analog and digital electrical circuits
Semiconductor device physics
Coding, though specific language is less important
Development and use of automated semiconductor data acquisition
Data analysis
Reporting and documentation of test results
Cryogenic test equipment
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to climb ladders to use elevated test equipment. Must be able to work safely in a laboratory environment.
Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Must have or be willing to apply for a security clearance
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position $76,530 - $93,320 + bonus + benefits.
