Job DescriptionThe Paid Search Specialist plays a key role in executing and optimizing paid search programs for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. This role is responsible for managing campaign performance, budgets, and optimization initiatives across multiple accounts while working closely with Media Planning and Analytics partners. The position requires strong hands-on experience in paid search platforms and a data-driven approach to performance improvement. The Paid Search Specialist contributes to both day-to-day execution and client-ready insights that inform strategic decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising across assigned brand portfolios
- Monitor budgets, pacing, and performance to support investment decisions for internal teams and client partners
- Analyze search performance using Excel and platforms reporting to identify risks, opportunities, and next steps
- Optimize within Search Ads 360 and evaluate tracking, QA, and measurement needs with cross-functional partners
- Prepare performance insights and operational updates for Media Planning, Analytics, and other internal stakeholders
Required:
- 1–3 years of hands-on paid search experience in an agency environment with direct platform activation
- Ability to analyze and interpret data using Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) to produce actionable insights
- Exposure to Google Analytics with ability to translate traffic and conversion data into channel learnings
- Experience using campaign management tools such as Google Ads Editor or Microsoft Advertising Desktop
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and communicating performance insights to internal or client stakeholders
Desired:
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
- Experience supporting paid media within regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, or financial services
- Exposure to budget management and pacing across multiple campaigns or accounts
- Experience contributing to client-facing reports, insights decks, or performance readouts
- Interest in mentoring junior team members or supporting knowledge sharing within a media team
This posting is for an existing vacancy at Klick. The base salary range for this position is between CAD $60,000 - $68,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
