The Role
Reviews and signs off residential conveyancing title and pre-exchange checklists, identifies title risks and unresolved issues, advises case-handling teams, and supports consistent quality standards. This is a self-employed consultant position based at a Paddington office.

- Review completed title and pre-exchange checklists on residential purchase (and related) matters, and sign them off where the work meets the required standard

- Act as a go-to point of reference for the case-handling team on title queries
- Help us keep raising the quality and consistency of how title is reviewed across the firm

- Sound working knowledge of title investigation, Land Registry practice, SDLT and the Law Society Conveyancing Protocol
- The confidence to make sign-off decisions independently — and to say clearly when something isn't right
- Excellent people skills, a clear communicator, easy to work with, and happy to be a helpful, calming point of contact for the wider team
- Accurate and efficient, comfortable working at pace without dropping quality
- Committed to working within SRA / CLC regulatory standards
