The Select Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with a designated portfolio of high-value clients. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to account management, ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and achieving organizational goals. The Select Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for select accounts, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with high-value clients, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive account program that aligns with client goals and drives mutual growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market presence.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing issues promptly, providing exceptional service, and anticipating client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and engineering, to deliver integrated solutions and enhance client experience.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions to secure favorable terms and long-term agreements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

Knowledge and skills

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive growth and achieve client objectives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and close deals.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to addressing client needs and challenges.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing data-driven insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing client needs.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum (7) seven years' experience in a high-level strategic sales role preferably in trench shoring or construction industry 
  1. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  1. Experience managing high-value accounts and building long-term client relationships
  1. A valid driver’s license and insurable DMV record
  1. Travel requirement – 75%

Skills Required

  • Minimum seven years of experience in a high-level strategic sales role, preferably in the trench shoring or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing high-value accounts and building long-term client relationships.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable DMV record.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strategic account planning, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, data analysis, relationship-building, and multitasking skills.
