Progyny is seeking a Summer Intern to support the Segment Marketing Team and the various aspects of marketing for our key audiences—clients, consultants, plans, channel partners, and prospects. We are looking for a creative, motivated undergrad who is majoring in marketing, communications, business (or similar) and is eager to learn more about channel marketing. In this role, they will work collaboratively with the team and cross-functional partners to create content to address our audiences’ unique pain points and highlight the value of our solution. This intern will directly contribute to team projects and initiatives, all while developing their skills and learning more about our company’s solutions. 

Progyny’s internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to gain valuable corporate work experience while contributing to meaningful projects that benefit the company. The internship program runs year-round based on the needs of each department, with a dedicated summer program that begins in June. Summer interns will be required to present to senior leadership on project(s) that they have completed during their time with Progyny. The internship program will align the intern to a specific business leader to execute on a specific project plan. This is a paid internship with a hybrid schedule, requiring interns to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote positions may also be available.  Must be a current student at the start of the intern program.

 

What you’ll do... 

  • Create and format presentations 

  • Organize presentation and photo libraries 

  • Update materials for our new products 

  • Draft copy– email templates, webpages, one pagers, and audience specific toolkits 

  • Support virtual and in-person event logistics 

  • Manage lists and drafts in our email marketing platform 

  • Track client and member testimonials 

  • Obtain hands on experience in a variety of marketing tasks 

  • Gain exposure to our various target audiences – clients, prospects, consultants, health plans, and partners 

About you... 

  • Ability to collaborate closely with various team members and quickly adapt to feedback 

  • Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables. 

  • Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail. 

  • Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives. 

  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver. 

  • Prefers to work independently with clear initial guidance/requests leveraging cross functional resources and teams. 

  • Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $25 - $50/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
