Do you want to drive Security solutions for Calgary’s industry leaders?
We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Security Technical Architect for our Calgary branch who will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to plan and drive the adoption of technologies that solve Security challenges while creating the desired outcomes!
A Day in the Life:
- Design, architect, and implement industry-leading cloud technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy consulting skills, both business and technical
- Provide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
- As a subject matter expert, you will deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of professional security industry experience across a wide range of technologies including systems, network, server, and cloud offerings
- 5+ years in industry working as a subject matter expert in Microsoft 365
- Technical strength and capability of implementing all Microsoft security components (Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender suite, etc.)
- Experience in implementing Information Protection in large regulated enterprises
- Experience with the design and implementation of security controls such as endpoint protection, firewalls, and hardening on servers.
- Experience aligning to NIST, CSA, ISO/IEC, OWASP best practices
- Experience working in a hands-on capacity with clients in the delivery of solutions
- Broad knowledge of multiple hardware and software technologies and strong experience in working with complex solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral, and various presentation formats and situations

- · CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker
- · CISM: Certified Information Security Manager
- · CompTIA Security+
- · CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- · CISSP-ISSAP: Information Systems Security Architecture Professional
- · GSEC: SANS GIAC Security Essentials
