What We're Looking For:

The Corporate Security Specialist serves as a key corporate security point of contact within an assigned subregion, supporting the Regional Corporate Security Manager. The primary responsibilities for this role are to help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, promote security awareness, and identify and mitigate security risks to the business. This position reports directly to the Regional Corporate Security Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and oversite of corporate security and asset protection programs and initiatives within the sub-region.
  • Assist the Regional Security Manager with the travel risk management program to ensure the organization meets its Duty of Care requirements for business travellers in the sub-region.
  • Assist the Regional Security Manager in updating and maintaining site-specific procedures and plans related to incident management and make recommendations for improved processes where appropriate.
  • Support the management of physical security system applications and tools at a sub-regional level.
  • Work with outsourced suppliers to manage aspects of physical, travel, and event security.
  • Conduct risk analysis and on-site assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks.
  • Partner with Regional Manager to conduct internal investigations related to loss, misconduct, and policy violations, taking the lead when needed.
  • Act as a sub-regional point of contact as a liaison with local law enforcement agencies on security matters.
  • Support the oversight of sub-regional manned guarding contracts and personnel, serving as an on-site point-of-contact for contracted personnel.
  • Provide threat analysis to support business units and corporate real estate as required.
  • Serve as a member of the local incident management, emergency response, and crisis management teams.
  • Maintain and administer local access control, intrusion, and video camera security systems
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years’ experience in corporate security or related field.
  • Language: English
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to interact with senior internal and external stakeholders and produce quality written reports and presentations.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with guidance.
  • Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive corporate or personnel matters.
  • Experience in conducting security risk assessments.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with security related incidents.
  • Familiarity with risk intelligence, travel risk and emergency mass notification communication tools.
  • Experience with security system design and installation methodology is a plus.
  • Experience working with third-party security system integrators, manned guarding, and facility management partners.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required, sometimes on short notice

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
