Do you want to drive IT security solutions for Edmonton’s industry leaders?
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Security Solution Architect for our Edmonton Branch! In this role, you will deliver security solutions to our clients across a broad range of industries and technologies!
A Day in the Life:
- Design, architect, and implement proven solutions that will solve business challenges in the fields of business continuity, IT resilience, and IT risk management
- Assist with pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities, at least 50% of your time will be spent doing pre-sales meaning bringing potential new business opportunity
- Continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team
- Provide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
- As a trusted advisor, deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
- Validate clients' existing architecture, identify gaps and assist the various business and technical teams with gathering their business use cases
- Team up with other senior consultants to create and implement proven solutions
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of professional IT security experience across a wide range of technologies including systems, network, server, and cloud offerings
- Expert consultant in security architecture design patterns and implementation
- Technical strength and capability of implementing Microsoft security components
- 5+ years industry experience as subject matter expert in the Microsoft suite of products and Microsoft Security Stack
- 5+ years industry experience with integrating multi-technology solutions across diverse technologies and platform through technical consulting
- Broad knowledge of multiple hardware and software technologies and strong experience in working with complex solutions comprising both
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS, etc for assessing systems and designs
- Strong communicate and ability to drive recommendations
