Since Helion's founding in 2013, we have raised over $1 billion from long-time investors such as Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group and new investors SoftBank and Lightspeed to propel us forward. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). Now, we're turning up operations for Polaris, working towards delivering the world's first fusion power plant.

What You Will Be Doing:
Do you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy exceptional service while keeping people and property safe? We're looking for an unarmed security officer to oversee the security and order of buildings, grounds, and property at Helion. You will patrol assigned areas examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are adequately secured. This position reports directly to our Security Manager at our Everett, WA headquarters.
You Will:
- Patrol and monitor properties to ensure safety and security
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through positive interactions with guests and employees
- Enforce site-specific directives with consistency and professionalism
- Collaborate with law enforcement and first responders to address incidents effectively
- Maintain high visibility and attentiveness to details
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of high-level security experience
- Experience with security-related technology, including access control and CCTV systems
- Strong communication with guests and employees
- Ability to participate in regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and climbing stairs and inclines
- High school diploma or GED
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Stand or walk on different surfaces for long periods

Helion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. We are committed to fostering a fair and equitable environment in every aspect of our operations, including compensation.
This is a non-exempt hourly role.
Hourly Pay Rate
$28—$31 USD
