Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Security Officer to work with our Security Department.
At Cabell Huntington Hospital, the philosophy and intent of Security is to protect and prevent illegal or unauthorized activity in the Hospital or on its campus. In accomplishing that cause, we serve, help and protect our patients, visitors, and employees in a variety of different manners.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid Operators Licenses
- A clean motor vehicle record
- Meet Hospital Insurance Carrier requirements
- Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, and crouch.
- Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions.
- Must possess ability to hear and interpret two-way radio calls.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must be able to run.
- Visual and hearing acuity required.
- Must meet requirement of Cabell Huntington Hospital Insurance Provider.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Skills Required
- Valid operator's license

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good writing and communication skills
- Past experience in security, law enforcement, or military
- Basic computer skills, including typing, keyboarding, or mouse use
- Basic First Aid knowledge
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and crouch
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions
- Ability to hear and interpret two-way radio calls
- Good physical condition and ability to run
- Required visual and hearing acuity
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
