We are seeking professional and dependable Bilingual Security Officers to join our team at a school in the Bronx. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor school entrances and exits during school hours.
- Verify visitor identification and enforce access control procedures.
- Conduct routine patrols of the school campus and grounds.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns.
- Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and parents.
- Report suspicious activity and complete detailed incident reports.
- Work closely with school administration and law enforcement when necessary.
- Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and special school events.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid New York Security Guard Licenses
- Must be bilingual.
- 3–4 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR/AED certification is a plus.
