Who you are:
The Security Lead is responsible for overseeing complex risk assessments, security governance, and compliance monitoring. This role demands a deep understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Cyber Defense to ensure the protection of organizational assets and data integrity.

What you do:

  • Lead program management support functions for the security workstream, including staffing specialized cyber resources and budgeting for security software.
  • Execute cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring compliance with NIST, FISMA, or SOC 1/SOC 2 within an ERP environment.
  • Oversee FedRAMP and ATO (Authority to Operate) processes.
  • Facilitate the audit lifecycle by serving as the central point of contact for audit inquiries and managing evidence collection.
  • Monitor and report on security posture through executive-level dashboards on risk exposure and audit-readiness activities.
  • Provide strategic input on cybersecurity tools, IAM, encryption standards, and secure integration with external interfaces.
  • Translate technical vulnerabilities into business-risk impact statements for leadership.
  • Align cybersecurity goals with business objectives to support user productivity and system performance.
  • Mentor and develop security analysts to enhance their understanding of cybersecurity challenges and GRC automation.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
