Skills Required
- Commit to a 12-week, full-time, 40-hour-per-week Summer 2027 internship
- Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and returning after the internship, with graduation by August 2028
- Strong programming skills, including writing, debugging, and testing code
- Basic understanding of web applications, systems, and foundational security concepts
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and large language models through coursework, projects, research, or work
- Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and communicate findings clearly
- Demonstrated interest in security through coursework, projects, capture-the-flag challenges, research, or prior experience
- Experience using security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Semgrep, or Snyk
- Experience building scripts or tools in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or another programming language
- Exposure to Git, APIs, and automated testing
- Experience building projects with LLM APIs or coding assistants and testing and validating their results
- Participation in CTFs, security research, open-source contributions, PortSwigger Web Security Academy, picoCTF, or Hack The Box
- CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge
- Ability to work from the Seattle or San Francisco hub
