IS Department Manager for Compliance and Risk Advisory__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to successfully develop and implement security and compliance measures for ABB in your area of responsibility. Each day, you will protect ABB from rapidly escalating threats. You will also showcase your expertise by staying vigilant in combating security threats, taking charge of the organization’s cybersecurity, and keeping track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems that protect vital information are secured and compliant to regulations.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote
This role is contributing to the IS Business in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
You will be mainly accountable to:
Provide security and compliance guidance to business stakeholders.
Support audit readiness and control validation efforts, customer security questionnaires (CSQs).
Identify risks and recommend mitigation actions, help design secure and compliant solutions.
Provide up to three months of guidance to less experienced colleagues, supported by an SME or lead.
Assist with peer reviews and contributes to complex solutions requiring security oversight and advisory support.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar degree.
At least 8 years of experience in security & compliance roles.
Delivers security and compliance assessments in close collaboration with business stakeholders to identify and manage risks in line with ABB policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conducts security and compliance assessments for applications and projects
Brings knowledge and experience of specialized areas of cybersecurity e.g.: Information Security, Regulatory Compliance, OT environments, Merger and Acquisition activities, etc. for specialized assessments.
Identifies risks and recommend mitigation actions, help design secure and compliant solutions.
Responsible for performing security and compliance risk assessments, enabling control implementation, and ensuring regulatory alignment (SOX, Trade Compliance).
Certification in ITIL Foundation, CISM/ CRISC/CISA/ISO 27001 LI.
Preferred certification in CISSP, CEH, ISO 27001 LA.
Good stakeholder management.
Advanced English level.
