About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated Securities Trading Program Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of the Money Markets trading desk. This role will partner closely with traders, sales, and risk teams to facilitate efficient execution, manage risk, and enhance reporting capabilities across short-term funding markets.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in financial markets, with a particular focus on money markets and wholesale funding.
In this role, you will:
  • Support the Money Market Trading Desk across all aspects of daily trading activity, including execution support, BWICs/OWICs, and risk monitoring
  • Produce and enhance daily desk reporting, including P&L, risk, overnight flows, and trader commentary
  • Assist with end-of-day P&L reconciliation and risk management processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical insights
  • Partner with traders and desk leadership to maintain accurate position and risk visibility
  • Develop and maintain relationships with buy-side counterparties, internal sales teams, and cross-asset trading desks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including risk, finance, and business management to support trading operations
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Securities Trading-Program experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Working knowledge or interest in money markets/wholesale funding markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
