Based in either Luxembourg or Paris, the role has responsibility for managing all aspects of the Buy-side Trading Services relationship across a portfolio of Agency Securities Finance and Collateral Management clients in EMEA, as well as partnering closely with the EMEA Buy-side Sales / Securities Services Coverage teams.
Key focus of the role will be on enhancing client revenue and profitability, driving incremental sales growth, providing subject matter expertise, and delivering thought leadership in Agency Securities Finance and Collateral Management solutions.
Job Summary
As a Securities Services - Buy-side Trading Services Relationship Manager - Vice President within our EMEA team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Buy-side Trading Services relationship across a portfolio of Agency Securities Finance and Collateral Management clients. You will work closely with the EMEA Buy-side Sales / Securities Services Coverage teams, focusing on enhancing client revenue and profitability, promoting incremental sales growth, and delivering thought leadership in Agency Securities Finance and Collateral Management solutions. This role provides an opportunity to develop and execute an annual client strategy and calling plan, with a key focus on revenue optimization.
Job responsibilities

  • Be responsible for a portfolio of Key Buy-side Trading Services Clients
  • Understand all contractual obligations for assigned clients and ensure program is operating within those parameters
  • Be an escalation point of all aspects of the client experiences and issues; working with all relevant internal J.P. Morgan parties to ensure proper focus and timely resolution of any issues
  • Work directly with Global Agency Securities Finance Trading, Investment desks, Collateral Management Product Management on revenue optimization opportunities
  • Understanding and articulation of Buy-side Trading Services product and technology roadmap and how this differentiates J.P. Morgan
  • Develop and execute an annual client strategy and calling plan; key focus on revenue optimization
  • Work closely with Securities Services partners across EMEA (such as Platform Sales)
  • Maintain oversight of the clients' program parameters and profitability; constantly monitor the risk factors involved in managing the program within the agreed client parameters
  • Understand and communicate market and regulatory developments (e.g. Uncleared Margin Rules), identifying potential revenue opportunities or impact and acting in a consultancy/advisory capacity to the client
  • Travel occasionally as required


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Understanding or experience with securities markets is a necessity
  • Vast experience/knowledge in the financial services industry; with a number of years, handling high profile and strategic institutional investor clients
  • Strong knowledge of securities financing and the drivers and developments in the securities lending industry
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively with both key internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills, with understanding of profit drivers in securities finance.
  • Strong communication skills and to be a team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in a business to business (B2B) environment
  • Bachelor degree and/or MBA (preferred although not essential for the right candidate)
