Position Overview

Forum is a content product that helps investors make better investment decisions faster. We conduct in-depth Interviews with senior executives and industry specialists to unearth critical insights and generate unfiltered transcripts.

Our 100-plus strong industry aligned team covers over 5,000 public and private companies, applying data-driven factor models to identify where capital is most likely to be deployed. Our library of over 50,000 Forum Interview transcripts is continually strengthened by the generation of approximately 750 transcripts per month.

Responsibilities

 In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining coverage of research over an established universe of Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) companies, industries and themes to facilitate frequent interviews on the most relevant topics to our investor clients

• Conducting initial research to select ideal experts for Interviews

• Continuing with comprehensive research for potential TMT Interview ideas, including work on market, industry, and company analysis; competitive dynamics, growth drivers and challenges; and customer and partner considerations, to prepare questions ahead of the event

• Hosting interviews with thought leaders, asking intelligent questions, and follow up appropriately, to maximize value for investor clients

• Collaborating with team members to ensure Forum Interviews are being marketed and sold effectively

• Educating the sales and research Account Management teams on upcoming conference calls and planned Interviews

• Working closely with the Forum research team to ensure that the best experts are selected and pre-qualified ahead of each interview

• Engaging with clients before and after each Interview to obtain input and feedback 

A successful candidate will:

• Have a real interest in financial markets, alternative investments and the investment research process, and TMT super sector in particular

• Have demonstrable experience of conducting research on sectors, industries and individual companies

• Be able to confidently and professionally interact with C-level executives and industry experts 

• Have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to develop the Forum product

• Be a results-driven team contributor player who is able to effectively can manage their time while maintaining a positive and “can-do” attitude

Qualifications

• Hold an undergraduate degree with a strong academic record

• At least two years of relevant, professional work experience
