The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity

At Allegro MicroSystems Philippines (AMPI), we design and deliver high-precision semiconductor technologies that drive the future of clean energy, automation, and autonomous driving. As a Section Head, Supply Chain Planning you will lead the critical team responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and ensuring the timely delivery of our products.

This role offers a powerful leadership opportunity to directly manage and develop a team of Planners. You will own the optimization of manufacturing capacity across our Probe, Assembly, Test, and Subcontractor facilities. Balancing factory utilization with customer demand, you will drive continuous improvement, oversee Master Production Scheduling, and directly influence our On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics. If you are an experienced planning professional with strong leadership capabilities and a desire to make a global impact, this is your next career step.

What You Will Do

1. Leadership & Team Management

  • Set Team Direction: Establish clear, strategic objectives and mission goals for the Planning Group.

  • People Development: Actively develop, train, and evaluate the performance of planners under your responsibility to build a highly effective and professional team.

  • Continuous Improvement: Initiate modern planning methodologies and systems to drive continuous improvement programs, ensuring compliance with 5S and ESD standards.

  • Departmental Reviews: Conduct monthly departmental reviews to track progress, align on schedule changes, and update operational priorities.

2. Production Scheduling & Capacity Optimization

  • End-to-End Scheduling: Guarantee optimal scheduling of production lots across Probe, Assembly, Test, and Subcontractor facilities to ensure products are processed and shipped on required dates.

  • Capacity Alignment: Oversee overall planning activities to ensure manufacturing moves align with established capacity limits, analyzing and submitting explanations for any variances.

  • Order Allocation: Monitor and ensure that Planners allocate and schedule production orders in strict compliance with the Oracle system's priorities and allocations, while ensuring FIFO practices are maintained.

  • Weekly Accountability: Review weekly schedules submitted by planners, identifying planned starts, completions, and any scheduling misses or constraints.

3. Strategic Reporting & Operational Metrics

  • WIP & Inventory Management: Regularly maintain and update Planned Completion Dates. Work to minimize leftover lots, actively follow up on Staging, Hold, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) lots, and drive expedites with clear business justifications.

  • Metric Validation: Review and validate key performance metrics—including On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance, Line Performance Against Schedule (LIPAS), and Cycle Time Attainment—prior to communicating results to global AML counterparts.

  • Forecasting & Annual Planning: Prepare comprehensive annual and semi-annual planning numbers, complete with detailed analyses of factory manufacturing capabilities.

  • Master Data Updates: Manage and submit finalized team requests for Flow/Route changes, Lead Time adjustments, Yield updates, and Bill of Materials (BOM) changes to the EDM Supporting Group.

4. Global Coordination & Logistics

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate directly with global AML business units, local Operations, Import/Export Logistics, Quality (QME), and Engineering to resolve delivery requirements and transaction issues.

  • Shipment Documentation: Supervise the preparation and accuracy of documentation required to ship finalized orders.

  • Inventory Support: Actively support Inventory Control operations and audits whenever business needs arise.

What You Will Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related technical field.

  • Professional Experience: 2 to 5 years of directly related experience in production planning or materials management within a manufacturing environment (semiconductor or electronics manufacturing setup is highly preferred).

Core Competencies & Functional Skills:

  • Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to direct, motivate, and train a team of planners to operate at maximum efficiency.

  • Systems Expertise: Hands-on proficiency utilizing Oracle ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong capacity to analyze manufacturing capacities, validate supply chain data, and troubleshoot complex operational bottlenecks under pressure.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with local support teams and global counterparts.
