The Impact You Will Make
In this role, you will execute core SEO initiatives that support organic growth across Risepoint’s university partner websites. You will focus on day-to-day optimization work including on-page improvements, content auditing, and technical SEO tasks and help to ensure partner sites are well-structured, search-aligned, and positioned to capture qualified organic demand.
You will be assigned to specific university partners and will work within established SEO/AEO strategies to implement recommendations, resolve issues, and support ongoing optimization efforts across a complex, multi-site environment. Your contributions will directly support improvements in organic visibility, traffic, and lead quality.
This role emphasizes execution excellence, attention to detail, and collaboration with managers and cross-functional teams to ensure SEO initiatives are delivered accurately and consistently.
What You Will Do
- Day-to-Day SEO Lead - Implement SEO/AEO recommendations across assigned university partner websites, focusing on on-page optimization, content updates, and technical SEO tasks
- Content Auditing & Optimization – Conduct regular content audits to identify optimization opportunities, gaps in topical coverage, and alignment with real search demand
- On-Page SEO Implementation – Implement on-page SEO improvements, including metadata optimization, internal linking, content structure enhancements, and keyword alignment
- Technical SEO Support – Support technical SEO initiatives by identifying issues, validating fixes, and collaborating with engineering or platform teams as needed
- UX and Cross-Linking Analytics – Review parent .EDU properties managed by university partners to identify user experience improvements and internal cross-linking opportunities that help prospective online students more easily discover relevant programs on our website
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Monitor organic performance trends for assigned partners and support reporting on traffic, rankings, and leads
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with SEO managers and cross-functional partners to ensure recommendations are implemented accurately and on schedule
- Process & Documentation – Maintain documentation, workflows, and optimization standards to support consistent execution across a complex, multi-site portfolio

- Assigned partner websites show sustained improvement in organic visibility, engagement, leads, applications, and enrollments that consistently meet or exceed forecasted annual goals
- Content ecosystems built for discoverability, where innovative strategies and tactics you’ve helped define, result in pages that perform across traditional search results, rich features, and AI-generated answers
- A culture of continuous learning and adaptability, where everyone is prepared to evolve their skills as search platforms, AI-driven discovery, and optimization techniques change
How Impact will be Measured:
- Measurable improvements in organic visibility, engagement, leads, applications, and enrollments that meet or exceed 2026’s forecasted goals for your assigned university partners
- Strong operational partnership with SEO managers and cross-functional teams, resulting in consistent delivery of SEO initiatives
- Quality of analysis and insights surfaced through content audits, UX reviews, and internal linking evaluations
Experience That Matters Most:
- 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience executing on-page, content, and technical SEO initiatives in a professional or agency environment across multiple websites or a large, complex site environment
- Proven ability to identify optimization opportunities and execute SEO recommendations that improve organic performance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with managers and cross-functional partners and clearly explain SEO recommendations and findings
- Familiarity with SEO performance measurement and reporting using common analytics and SEO platforms
Experience That’s Great to Have:
- Familiarity with SEO considerations for AI-driven, generative, or answer-based search experiences
- Experience evaluating user experience and navigation to identify internal linking or discoverability opportunities
- Experience working in higher education, or similarly complex, multi-brand ecosystems
