JOB FUNCTION:

To assist the SE Gateway Neighborhood Plan coordinator, with the execution and implementation of the SE Gateway Neighborhood Plan Development initiatives, namely the Southeast Gateway Neighborhood Revitalization Plan, as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Implementing activities and outcomes related to the areas of Enhance Public Safety, Advance Community and Economic Development, and Ensure Creativity and Sustainability.
  • Conduct and promote outreach, resource networking and garnering community involvement and support, as directed by supervisor.
  • Monitor, direct and work with the project partners, on the budget, expenditures, objectives, key personnel, schedule, or other circumstances that might adversely affect any purpose or intended outcome of the SE Gateway Plan, as directed by supervisor.
  • Arrange and prepare events, meetings and other business necessary to carry out the SE Gateway Plan development goals.
  • Meet deadlines as delineated.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of computer and basic office equipment.
  • Orientation to the needs of the community.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree.
  • Professional experience with non-profit or community related work.
  • Valid drivers license.
