Assists with implementing the SE Gateway Neighborhood Plan, including community outreach, resource networking, partner coordination, event and meeting preparation, budget and schedule monitoring, and meeting project deadlines. Supports initiatives focused on public safety, community and economic development, creativity, and sustainability. Requires an associate degree, nonprofit or community-related experience, a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently.

Coordinates day-to-day operations for an AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program, including volunteer recruitment, interviews, enrollment, onboarding, placement, training, monitoring, communication, retention, documentation, and problem resolution. Maintains relationships with volunteer stations, conducts site visits, monitors compliance and performance, supports reporting, and assists the Director with policies, community resources, and program events across assigned service areas.

Coordinates Head Start ERSEA enrollment systems, eligibility, recruitment, selection, attendance, compliance, reporting, records, and training. Analyzes community data, monitors applications and funded enrollment, supports audits and self-assessments, maintains confidential databases and files, coordinates childcare resources, responds to record requests, and assists with supervision of ERSEA Associates.

Provide leadership and oversight for WIC program operations, staff supervision, training, quality assurance, nutrition education, and breastfeeding promotion while ensuring federal and state WIC regulatory compliance. Manage certification, benefit issuance, reporting, staffing, and interagency/community partnerships to deliver high-quality services to women, infants, and children.

Provide technical and musical percussion instruction and run rehearsals for youth. Develop percussion shows, communicate with families and staff, maintain and distribute equipment, supervise students during rehearsals and performances, and complete required clearances.

Coordinate and supervise Early Head Start/Head Start classrooms and staff, implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, conduct observations/assessments and referrals, support inclusion of special needs children, lead training and CDA progress, manage transitions, ensure safety and compliance with Head Start and state licensing, maintain communications and required reporting.

Provide clinical breastfeeding services (in-person and virtual) including assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, follow-up, referrals, lactation support groups, pump/aids instruction, inventory management, and occasional supervision or training of peer counselors.

Assess participants' nutritional risk and needs, prescribe supplemental food, provide individual and group nutrition and breastfeeding counseling, make referrals, supervise clinic operations and education materials, and serve multicultural clientele with required travel within the service area.
