Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SDR Manager to lead and grow our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our SDRs by enabling them to achieve and exceed their targets through strategic guidance, coaching, and data-driven decision-making.

The SDR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify key markets and opportunities, executing coordinated campaigns, and fostering a high-performing team. Your leadership will directly contribute to the growth and success of Authorium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, coach, and mentor a team of world-class SDRs, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in outreach and engagement. 
  • Campaign Coordination: Oversee the execution of targeted SDR campaigns across multiple channels, including email, phone, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. Form deep partnerships across the sales and marketing team to ensure that messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to SDRs to enhance their skills, confidence, and performance. Develop and implement training programs that equip the team with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to target key markets, identify opportunities, and drive lead generation. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment in campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely across the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure seamless handoff of leads and to align on messaging, positioning, and campaign timing. Regularly communicate with senior leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Market Analysis & Research: Guide the team in conducting thorough research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Use insights to refine targeting strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Performance Management: Enable SDR-teamwide execution against clear revenue/sales team objectives and KPIs. Regularly review performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and celebrate successes. Implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure team members meet or exceed targets.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize CRM and other tools to track and analyze SDR activities, pipeline metrics, and outcomes. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform broader sales and marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading a sales development or similar sales team, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales strategies, lead generation, and campaign execution.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools (ie. Zoominfo, Outreach, etc).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and continuous improvement.
  • Must be based in Washington, DC.
