As we expand our B2B services and partnership channels, outbound sales development is a core growth lever. This role exists to create a qualified pipeline, not just activity.
Role OverviewThe SDR / BDR is responsible for generating qualified leads and booking meetings for Muvr’s Sales and Partnerships teams. You will be the first point of contact for potential business customers and partners, using outbound outreach to identify fit, qualify needs, and hand off strong opportunities that are ready to move forward.
This is a high-activity, high-ownership role for someone who is resilient, organized, and motivated to grow in sales. You will work closely with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to improve targeting, messaging, and conversion through disciplined execution, strong follow-up, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities1) Prospecting and Pipeline Generation
- Identify and prospect potential business customers and strategic partners aligned with Muvr’s ideal customer profile.
- Build targeted lead lists using LinkedIn, directories, market research, partner ecosystems, and outbound prospecting tools.
- Execute outbound sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn with disciplined follow-up and clear call-to-action.
- Maintain a healthy top-of-funnel pipeline and consistent weekly meeting volume.
2) Outreach and Qualification
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, need, urgency, decision-making structure, and business potential.
- Run early-stage discovery conversations to understand use case, volume potential, pain points, and operational requirements.
- Handle objections professionally and move prospects to next steps with confidence and clarity.
- Schedule meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to Sales Managers, Account Executives, or Partnerships leads with strong context.
3) CRM Hygiene and Process Discipline
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking in CRM, including notes, activity logs, stages, next steps, and follow-up dates.
- Track outreach performance such as open rates, reply rates, connect rates, meeting set rates, and conversion by segment.
- Ensure handoffs include strong qualification notes, stakeholder context, pain points, timeline, and next-step recommendations.
- Keep pipeline data clean and current so output is measurable and forecastable.
4) Messaging and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships teams to improve targeting, positioning, and outbound messaging.
- Test and refine subject lines, email structures, cold call scripts, and talk tracks based on performance data and prospect feedback.
- Share learnings from the field, including objections, competitor mentions, recurring needs, and high-converting angles.
- Contribute to playbooks, templates, and sequencing improvements that increase outreach quality and conversion.
5) Execution Efficiency and AI-Enabled Productivity
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve productivity, prospect research, personalization, follow-up quality, and workflow efficiency.
- Apply AI responsibly to support outreach preparation, summarization, note-taking, and messaging improvement while maintaining accuracy, relevance, and sound judgment.
Required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in outbound outreach.
- Comfortable with cold outreach, follow-up discipline, and objection handling.
- Highly organized with strong task management, time management, and execution habits.
- Motivated by targets, learning, and growth into sales, account management, or partnerships roles.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and work quality, with a willingness to learn emerging AI workflows and apply them responsibly.
Preferred
- Experience in logistics, marketplaces, mobility, delivery, or B2B service environments.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Experience with cold calling, sequencing tools, prospecting platforms, and sales automation software.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments with evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with tools and systems such as Slack, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, ClickUp, Hubstaff, Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, spreadsheets, and other sales or business development tools.
- Be a key driver of pipeline growth for a fast-growing logistics marketplace.
