Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Our client is seeking an exceptional Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust testing suite to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with their engineering team to design and implement unit tests, regression tests, and end-to-end tests
Collaborate with developers to build a testing framework that can be easily maintained and expanded over time
Identify and address gaps in our testing coverage, proactively improving the overall quality of our codebase
Provide technical leadership in the testing domain, guiding the team on best practices and new testing methodologies
Automate repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in Python programming, with a deep understanding of software testing principles and practices
Background in a startup environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent approach to work
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in building and maintaining end-to-end testing frameworks is a plus
Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies is preferred
