The SDET Lead will drive quality across our software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex integration challenges, building scalable automation frameworks, and mentoring high-performing teams. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our systems work seamlessly together, delivering robust and reliable solutions to our users.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Testing Leadership: Own and lead testing efforts across system components, ensuring smooth interoperability and a unified user experience.
Automation Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and maintain reusable automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools to accelerate testing cycles and improve defect detection.
Test Planning & Coverage: Create detailed test plans and test cases aligned with project goals, ensuring comprehensive coverage and traceability.
Collaboration & Communication: Partner closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and drive quality from the ground up.
Environment Management: Set up and manage test environments that mirror production, enabling accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
Manual & Automated Testing: Execute a mix of manual and automated tests with precision, documenting results and driving continuous feedback loops.
Defect Analysis & Prevention: Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies to boost team efficiency and product quality.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands-on software testing experience across the product lifecycle.
5+ years of experience in automation testing, framework development, and test documentation using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Microsoft Azure.
Proven expertise in Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured for web and mobile automation.
Strong understanding of Node.js, Bitbucket/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Experience with SQL/MySQL, Maven, and shell scripting for deployment automation.
Comfortable working with distributed teams across geographies.
Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and task management tools.
Exposure to cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Workspaces is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
