About the Role
FanCode is hiring Interns and Graduate SDETs to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates who are passionate about quality engineering, automation, AI, and emerging technologies. You’ll work on high-impact systems powering one of India’s leading sports platforms, with a strong opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and backend systems
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure high quality, scalable, and reliable releases
- Work on real-world production systems used by millions of sports fans
- Explore and apply AI and Large Language Models in testing, automation, or development workflows
- Debug issues, improve test coverage, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Learn modern QA practices in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment
Must Haves:
- Final-year student or recent graduate from a Tier-1 engineering college
- Based in Mumbai
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and a learning-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-ownership environment
Good to Have:
- Exposure to AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation in testing or development
- Familiarity with modern QA practices, debugging techniques, and test strategies
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Prior internship, academic projects, or hands-on work in software testing or development
