Responsibilities:
- Performance Testing:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of performance testing frameworks .
- Conduct performance tests to evaluate the system's response under various load conditions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze test results, identify potential performance issues, and suggest improvements.
- Release Management:
- Support the release process by helping to ensure that deployments are smooth and timely.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of automated release processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to verify that performance benchmarks are met before release.
- Monitor system performance post-deployment and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Automation & Tooling:
- Work on improving existing testing and release processes, focusing on automation and efficiency.
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to support performance testing and release management tasks.
- Integrate performance testing tools with monitoring systems to provide valuable insights into system performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with some exposure to performance testing.
- Basic proficiency in Locust or similar Python-based performance testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with release management processes and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid programming skills preferably in Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is preferred.
- Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and their role in performance testing.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of performance testing and release management.
