We are looking for an SDET with hands-on experience in automation, API testing, and performance engineering.
You will help build reliable automation suites, improve test efficiency, and enable scalable product releases across our web and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated test suites for web UI and backend services
- Develop API automation tests using Python-based frameworks (PyTest/Requests/Postman)
- Contribute to expanding functional, regression, and integration coverage
- Build utilities, scripts, and reusable libraries to accelerate automation
- Execute performance and load testing using JMeter (or K6/Locust)
- Capture and analyze system metrics (latency, throughput, stability)
- Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and test planning
- Investigate failures, log defects, and collaborate with engineering for resolution
- Maintain test execution pipelines in CI/CD environments
- Provide clear reporting on automation results, quality trends, and risks
Qualifications
- 2–4 years experience in QA automation or SDET roles
- Strong working knowledge of Selenium + Python
- Experience automating REST APIs
- Practical exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter or equivalents)
- Understanding of functional testing, test design, and regression workflows
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Solid foundation in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and SDLC practices
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of:
- Web architecture (HTTP, auth flows, browser behavior)
- API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Microservices and distributed systems test considerations
- Experience building frameworks or extending automation libraries
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for quality engineering, continuous improvement, and automation-first thinking
