ResponsibilitiesAbout this role:
The Software Development Engineer (SDE) I- Adobe Exp Platform is an early-career contributor who plays a key role in designing, building, and delivering scalable software solutions as part of an Agile Scrum team. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to develop real-world applications across web, mobile, APIs, and data platforms, while growing your technical depth across modern cloud-native technologies.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, adaptable, and excited to learn—someone who enjoys solving problems, picking up new tools quickly, and contributing wherever the team needs support.
In this role you will:
Support implementation and maintenance of Adobe Web SDK for client-side data collection
Partner with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure accurate and reliable data flow into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
Help implement and validate data collection strategies while ensuring compliance with privacy and governance standards
Demonstrate competency in the software development practices performed by Scrum teams
Develop product features for any or all of the following: data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications and API services
Participate in migration to the public cloud within the team as appropriate
Contribute to test automation and participating in peer reviews to increase product quality
Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime and ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues
Invest in our Agile practice to continuously improve product quality, time to market and team member happiness

- Code Scanning: SonarQube, Checkmarx
- Source Code repos: Git
- Mobile: Xamarin.iOS, Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.Forms
- UI: Angular, Javascript, CSS, Node.js, ASP.NET MVC
- Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes (open source), Docker
- High level programming languages: Java, C# (.NET MVC and .NET Core), Go
- Scripting: Powershell, Bash
- Database: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL (e.g. CosmosDB)
- Test Automation: Xamarin.UITest, Specflow, Selenium, Postman, Maven, TestNG, JMeter
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux
Education & Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field; and/or commensurate experience preferred
- Experience in software development and test automation required
Additional Knowledge and Skills
Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:
Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
AI Skills Preferred:
Experience with AI assisted software development or automation
Knowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality
Awareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations
