About WizStudio 

WizStudio is an AI-powered visual content platform that helps wholesale brands create studio-quality product photography, lifestyle imagery, catalogs, and marketing assets—without the time and cost of traditional photoshoots. From a single product photo, customers can generate realistic lifestyle scenes, product variants, line drawings, silo images, and even short product videos at scale.

We're building a product that combines modern AI capabilities with intuitive user experiences, enabling businesses to transform thousands of product images into catalog-ready assets in minutes. Whether it's bulk image generation, AI-powered editing, or interactive visual workflows, WizStudio is redefining how brands create and manage product content.

As one of the senior engineers on the team, you'll have significant ownership over the platform. You'll work across product, design, and AI to build features that are used daily by customers, influence the technical direction of the product, and help shape the future of WizStudio as it scales.

• Own the architecture and development of major Studio features from idea to production.

• Build high-quality, performant, and responsive frontend experiences.

• Design scalable backend services and APIs that power the Studio platform.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success to translate customer feedback into product improvements.

• Drive engineering decisions around architecture, performance, maintainability, and developer experience.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.

• Lead complex technical projects across the frontend and backend.

• Improve reliability, observability, testing, deployment, and release processes.

• Help define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for WizStudio.

Within your first 6–12 months, you'll:

• Become the technical owner of one or more core areas of WizStudio.

• Deliver major product capabilities independently.

• Improve frontend architecture and engineering quality.

• Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical standards.

• Help shape the roadmap and technical direction of the Studio platform.

Qualifications:
Frontend (Primary)

• Expert in React and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript.

• Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive layouts, and modern UI patterns.

• Experience building component libraries and reusable design systems.

• Understanding of rendering performance, lazy loading, code splitting, and frontend optimization.

• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Zustand, Redux, or Context.

• Experience integrating AI-assisted interfaces or rich interactive applications is a plus.

• Experience building production APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django), Node.js, or similar technologies.

• REST APIs and API design.

• PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Redis or caching strategies.

• Authentication and authorization.

• Basic understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.

• Git and modern development workflows.

• Automated testing.

• Docker.

• CI/CD.

• Production debugging and monitoring.

• Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• 5–8 years building modern web applications.

• Proven experience delivering customer-facing products.

• Strong frontend expertise with enough backend experience to own features end-to-end.

Bonus Points

• Experience building page builders, CMS platforms, no-code/low-code tools, editors, or design tools.

• Experience with drag-and-drop frameworks.

• Knowledge of visual editing systems.

• Experience with rich text editors.

• Experience with Canvas, SVG, or animation libraries.

• Experience building AI-powered editing experiences.

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch or search-driven products.
