Your Role:
- Analyzing requirements and designing software solutions based on first principle design patterns (e.g. Object Oriented Design and Analysis, E-R Modelling)
- Designing and building resilient, specialized distributed systems using SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, and big-data processing frameworks
- Deploying and configuring cloud-native software services on public cloud
- Operating and supporting software services in production based on on-call schedules, using observability tools such as Datadog for logging, alerting, monitoring
- Taking full ownership of services and projects, ensuring diligence in tasks and protocols, and providing clear communication on timelines, pivots, and progress
Qualifiers:
- 3+ years of software development experience with Java/Python, including expertise in database modeling (E-R modeling), SQL, and NoSQL databases
- 2+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns
- Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as Kafka or MQ
- Experience working with AWS or any public cloud infrastructure
