Your Role:

Analyzing requirements and designing software solutions based on first principle design patterns (e.g. Object Oriented Design and Analysis, E-R Modelling)
Designing and building resilient, specialized distributed systems using SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, and big-data processing frameworks
Deploying and configuring cloud-native software services on public cloud
Operating and supporting software services in production based on on-call schedules, using observability tools such as Datadog for logging, alerting, monitoring
Taking full ownership of services and projects, ensuring diligence in tasks and protocols, and providing clear communication on timelines, pivots, and progress

Qualifiers:

3+ years of software development experience with Java/Python, including expertise in database modeling (E-R modeling), SQL, and NoSQL databases
2+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns
Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as Kafka or MQ
Experience working with AWS or any public cloud infrastructure
