Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and optimize Datadog monitoring across AWS environments
- Configure and maintain observability solutions for Kubernetes clusters
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/Terragrunt
- Set up alerts, dashboards, and log collection for production systems
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Troubleshoot performance issues using observability tools
- Perform security assessments and infrastructure components runbooks
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, IAM, Secrets Manager)
- Experience with Kubernetes monitoring and Datadog implementation
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform/Terragrunt)
- Understanding of service mesh technologies (Istio)
- Familiarity with Helm charts and CI/CD workflows
Experience:
- 3+ years in infrastructure/DevOps engineering
- Demonstrated expertise with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience implementing Datadog agents, dashboards, and alerts
- History of managing cloud infrastructure in production environments
- Background in log collection, metrics configuration, and APM
