Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Scrum Master to join our team! In this role you will get to facilitate Agile delivery practices and serves as a servant leader for one or more Scrum teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Facilitates Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
- Supports program and project implementation efforts and contributes significantly to department goals, Agile maturity initiatives, and planning activities.
- Identifies, tracks, and removes impediments that may impact team productivity, delivery timelines, or business outcomes.
- Coaches team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and servant leadership concepts.
- Collaborates with Product Owners to ensure product backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
- Promotes continuous improvement through retrospectives, actionable feedback, and process optimization initiatives.
- Tracks and communicates key Agile metrics, team health indicators, delivery progress, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration and coordination across teams, departments, and external partners as needed.
- Oversees adherence to Agile delivery standards and supports quality-focused practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and resource to managers, employees, Product Owners, and leadership teams regarding Agile delivery and team effectiveness.
- Supports release planning and helps ensure successful delivery of products and services into production environments.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, Kanban principles, and Lean practices.
- 5+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project Manager, or related Agile delivery role.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate team discussions, conflict resolution, and consensus-building activities.
- Strong servant leadership mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments.
- Experience supporting software development teams and technology delivery initiatives.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Agile management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze Agile metrics and use data to drive team improvements and delivery predictability.
- Must possess a SECRET Clearance (highly preferred TS/SCI or above)
