Who is Forcepoint?
Forcepoint simplifies security for global businesses and governments. Forcepoint’s all-in-one, truly cloud-native platform makes it easy to adopt Zero Trust and prevent the theft or loss of sensitive data and intellectual property no matter where people are working. 20+ years in business. 2.7k employees. 150 countries. 11k+ customers. 300+ patents. If our mission excites you, you’re in the right place; we want you to bring your own energy to help us create a safer world. All we’re missing is you!
Forcepoint is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) engineering organisation. As the team's Agile coach and delivery facilitator, you will be embedded across DSPM engineering squads, driving sprint delivery, removing blockers, and building a continuous-improvement culture. You will be a servant leader — equal parts coach, facilitator, and trusted partner to engineers, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies across DSPM engineering squads — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Identify, track, and resolve impediments swiftly to maintain squad velocity and delivery confidence
Coach engineers and Product Owners on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and a continuous-improvement mindset
Track and report on sprint metrics, velocity, team health, and DORA metrics; use data to drive delivery improvements
Partner with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-maintained, sprint goals are clearly defined, and dependencies are managed
Support cross-team coordination across DSPM squads and with broader Forcepoint engineering teams
Drive adoption of engineering best practices — test automation, CI/CD, definition of done — in collaboration with engineering leads
Foster a culture of psychological safety, accountability, and high performance within DSPM squads
Contribute to Forcepoint-wide Agile practice maturity through sharing learnings and participating in communities of practice
Skills and Abilities
Deep knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks; experience with SAFe or Kanban is advantageous
Proven ability to coach, influence, and facilitate without direct authority
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — able to engage from squad level to senior leadership
Data-driven mindset — comfortable working with sprint metrics, burndown charts, and delivery KPIs
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced, distributed engineering teams
Collaborative, empathetic leadership style with a bias for action
Education and Experience
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification required
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master embedded in a software engineering environment
Experience supporting B2B software, enterprise SaaS, or cybersecurity product teams preferred
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps or comparable tooling
Experience working in globally distributed Agile organisations is a strong advantage
Don’t meet every single qualification? Studies show people are hesitant to apply if they don’t meet all requirements listed in a job posting. Forcepoint is focused on building an inclusive and diverse workplace – so if there is something slightly different about your previous experience, but it otherwise aligns and you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply. You could be a great candidate for this or other roles on our team.
