About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to coach, mentor, and guide multiple Agile teams in delivering high-quality products. You will be responsible for fostering an environment where teams can thrive, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. This role requires someone who can operate at both tactical and strategic levels, influencing Agile adoption beyond individual teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum/SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Iteration/ Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Scrum of Scrums, Backlog refinements, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives for multiple cross-functional teams

  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, SAFe framework and best practices to improve velocity, quality, and predictability

  • Identify and remove impediments, escalating organizational blockers to leadership when necessary

  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement, prioritization, and healthy sprint commitments

  • Track and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, lead time) to stakeholders and leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of experimentation and learning

  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to the Agile Center of Excellence

  • Collaborate with engineering managers, architects, and delivery leads to align team execution with organizational goals

  • Support release planning and coordinate dependencies across teams in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe or similar)

  • Champion team health, psychological safety, and sustainable pace

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach working with software development teams

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) - Preferably SAFe

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM II/III); SAFe certifications are a plus

  • Proven experience working with distributed/remote teams across multiple time zones

  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage metrics for data-driven decision making

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence without authority

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI/ML products domain

  • Background in software development, QA, or technical project management

  • Experience coaching teams through Agile transformations

  • ICP-ACC, ICAgile, or equivalent Agile coaching certifications

  • Familiarity with SDLC, Development+QA practices & methodologies, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
