About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Java development to lead and support Agile teams delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will combine solid Scrum expertise with hands-on Java experience to effectively facilitate the Agile process, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative, continuous improvement culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure productive team collaboration.
Work closely with Product Owners to manage product backlog and prioritize user stories.
Coach and mentor the Agile teams on Scrum best practices and Agile mindset.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
Identify and remove impediments blocking team progress.
Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics and reporting tools.
Promote continuous improvement and foster a culture of high performance.
Leverage Java development experience to understand technical challenges and support the team effectively.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely software increments.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
Strong hands-on Java development background (experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, or related frameworks).
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams or projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remove impediments.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Experience working in large-scale Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with automated testing and quality assurance processes.
Ability to mentor junior Scrum Masters or Agile team members.
