Responsible for performing general analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of the business (e.g., Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing/Advertising, Financial Services, Scientific Research, etc.). Activities include: defining data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization. Examines and identifies data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making. Provides inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects. Identifies areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.

Position Overview
The Scrum Master at Nordic Global plays a vital role in facilitating Agile practices and enabling teams to deliver high-quality products. Acting as a coach, mentor, and advocate for Agile methodologies, the Scrum Master ensures effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving within the team and across the organization. They oversee Scrum processes, lead ceremonies, and shield the team from external distractions, fostering an environment of trust and continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee Scrum processes and coach teams in Agile practices to drive productivity and innovation.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews, ensuring full team engagement.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Support Product Owners in release planning and backlog refinement.
- Build a trusting, safe environment where issues can be raised and resolved without fear of blame or punishment.
- Mentor team members and foster self-organization, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Advocate for an Agile mindset through coaching, conversations, and role-playing exercises.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to enable teams to remain focused and productive.
- Promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation across the team and organization.
Additional Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor other Scrum Masters across the organization.
- Guide the organization in understanding and implementing Agile principles and methodologies.
- Support teams in balancing business and technical needs while delivering on goals.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
- Certified Scrum Practitioner (Preferred).
- Certified Scrum Agile Coach (Preferred).
Experience
- 1+ years in an Agile software development environment (Required).
- 1-2 years as a Scrum Master (Preferred).

- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of Scrum development methodologies.
