The Scrum Master for Kardex AutoStore will facilitate Agile processes, serve as a coach for the Scrum team, and work to remove obstacles that impede the team’s progress. This role involves fostering a collaborative environment, tracking sprint progress, and ensuring that the team is aligned with the product roadmap and project milestones. The Scrum Master will support regional teams in adopting Agile practices, optimizing workflows, and enhancing communication across project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include organizing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives), tracking and managing sprint goals and metrics, and working closely with the product team to align deliverables with customer requirements. The Scrum Master will provide updates to stakeholders on team performance and progress, promoting transparency and accountability within
the team.
Occasional domestic and international travel will be required with this position.
Your tasks
Job Purpose
- Act as a servant leader and coach for the Scrum team, fostering Agile principles and a collaborative culture.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Assist in sprint planning, tracking progress, and maintaining the product backlog with the Product Owner.
- Identify and remove impediments that affect team productivity and overall project success.
- Support team members in achieving sprint goals and monitor key Agile metrics to optimize performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment of priorities with customer needs and the overall product roadmap.
- Communicate progress and performance to stakeholders regularly, ensuring transparency in the Scrum team’s progress.
Training/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field preferred.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required.
Professional Experience:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in software development environments.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Monday, ADO).
Experience in the supply chain or Warehouse Execution/Management Systems is a plus.
