£57,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonus and benefits
Full time 37.5 hours per week

These are four new Scrum Master roles for Bupa Global, to build capability within the Bupa Global permanent teams; to evolve our ways of working in 2024, and to support being able to deliver at scale for the multiple Value Streams, whilst focusing on improving agile processes, improved productivity and quality.
As Scrum Masters you will manage and facilitate your scrum to improve agile ways of working; helping to remove waste and improve productivity, quality and engagement.
How you’ll help us make health happen:

Being accountable for the continual development and improvement across multiple scrums for agile processes and ways of working, helping to remove waste and improve productivity and engagement.

Support scrum masters to effectively facilitate all agile ceremonies assisting the scrums to meet their iteration goals (includes sprint pre-planning and planning, daily stand up’s, sprint retrospective and sprint demos)

Act as an agile coach to the scrums and scrum master, effectively support each scrum member to ‘be the best that they can be’.

Assist the Product Owners/Managers to develop and maintain high quality user-stories, backlogs and drive the adoption of better tooling and processes.

Assist scrum masters to remove impediments and protect the scrum from distractions.

Contribute to the assessment and validation of solutions, designs, POCs (proof of concept) etc to ensure that end to end solutions are fit for purpose

Work to appropriate the appropriate standards, development methodologies and strategic architecture frameworks

Act as a bridge between the business, architecture, and development communities
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
-
Proven commercial experience as a Scrum Master
-
You will demonstrate knowledge and experience of Service and Claims, ideally in the insurance industry.

Proven experience working in an Agile environment and the using agile methods, such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe

Strong, proven leadership skills

Technical knowledge or some familiarity with approaches, tooling and languages (examples could include PLSQL, .net, Python, R, C#, test automation frameworks, Azure Dev Ops, Snowflake etc)

BCS BA certification or equivalent industry certifications (desired) such as Certified Scrum Master accreditation.
