Responsibilities

  • Fluent in Mandarin for verbal communication (writing skills not required)
  • Understand Scrumban and how to use it
  • Facilitate communication among the engineering team, growth team, and other teams
  • Host Scrumban meetings
  • Cooperate with a recruiter in screening and hiring engineering and product team members
  • Training, mentoring, and supporting engineering teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices
  • Manage bug bounties, and satellite products and tools, such as Google analytics, etc.
  • Responsible for server maintenance and security engineering

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin for verbal communication (writing skills not required)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role at reputable companies or startups
  • Engineering team management experience required
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must
  • Strong software development background preferred
  • Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred

Interview Process

  • Test: You may be required to complete an online test or a take-home assignment to assess your skills relevant to the position.
  • Recruiter Call: A brief 15-30 minute discussion to go over your background and the role.
  • Team Interview: A more in-depth session lasting 45-60 minutes with the team you'll be working with, focusing on your technical skills and team fit.
  • Final Interview: A concluding interview of approximately 45 minutes that may involve higher-level management or final decision-makers.
  • All interviews will be conducted via Zoom or Google Meeting, accommodating a fully remote recruitment process to best suit candidates globally.
