We're looking for a Scrum Master to join our Enterprise Technology Services team and help our squads deliver exceptional products and customer outcomes through Agile excellence.

Job Description

Your Opportunity

As a Scrum Master, you'll facilitate and champion Agile and Lean practices across a cross-functional squad, helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently and effectively. You'll work closely with Product Owners, engineers and business stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.

You'll also make an impact by:

  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Manage the delivery, set expectations and influence engineers
  • Coaching teams and Product Owners to effectively apply Scrum principles, Agile practices and backlog management techniques
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives using team metrics, insights and root cause analysis
  • Removing impediments and protecting squads from distractions that impact delivery outcomes
  • Promoting transparency, collaboration and shared accountability across squads and stakeholders
  • Supporting release and incident management activities where required
  • Contributing to the Scrum Master Community of Practice and broader Agile capability across Cuscal

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

You're an experienced Scrum Master who thrives in complex technology environments and is passionate about helping teams achieve their best.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience leading and transforming team delivery using Scrum methodologies
  • Solid experience with delivery management, dependancies, risks and issues 
  • Experience coaching and mentoring teams in Agile principles, practices and ways of working
  • Strong backlog management and sprint planning capabilities
  • Experience using delivery metrics and insights to identify improvement opportunities
  • Proven ability to facilitate problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience working across multiple Scrum teams in a multi-product environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:

  • Experience within financial services, payments or highly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of flow metrics and Agile delivery reporting
  • Experience facilitating release and incident management activities
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile scaling practices and enterprise delivery environments
