Company Overview
KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. Virtually every electronic device in the world is produced using our technologies. No laptop, smartphone, wearable device, voice-controlled gadget, flexible screen, VR device or smart car would have made it into your hands without us. KLA invents systems and solutions for the manufacturing of wafers and reticles, integrated circuits, packaging, printed circuit boards and flat panel displays. The innovative ideas and devices that are advancing humanity all begin with inspiration, research and development. KLA focuses more than average on innovation and we invest 15% of sales back into R&D. Our expert teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists and problem-solvers work together with the world’s leading technology providers to accelerate the delivery of tomorrow’s electronic devices. Life here is exciting and our teams thrive on tackling really hard problems. There is never a dull moment with us.
Group/Division
Enabling the movement toward advanced chip design, KLA's Measurement, Analytics and Control group (MACH) is looking for the best and brightest research scientists, software engineers, application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers to join our team. The MACH team's mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variations—at their source—rather than compensate for them at later stages of the manufacturing process. With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Our MACH team develops leading-edge solutions for patterning process analytics and control technologies, thereby providing customers with critical insight at the feature level, field level and cross-wafer analysis. Our teams also develop advanced modeling simulation, data analytics and process control modeling technologies. As a member of the MACH team, you’ll be joining the most sophisticated and successful process-control company in the semiconductor industry--working across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.
Job Description
As a trusted software solution provider within KLA — one of the leading machine producers in semiconductors — we build and maintain software that ensures a stable and efficient production process in semiconductor manufacturing.
Our team in Dresden is looking for a Scrum Master to join the team (in presence @ our KLA Dresden Office).
How we work
-
We develop products for the semiconductor industry that are based on client server applications with database connection. In the process we use .NET/C#, MS-SQL Server, Entity Framework, WPF and WCF.
-
We work in an agile manner in full stack teams consisting of developers, testers, scrum master and a product owner.
-
Our software products as well as the architecture and maintainability of our code have to meet our high-quality standards.
-
We stay up-to-date by participating in regular workshops and international conferences.
-
We maintain an open and respectful corporate culture; for instance, every second Friday afternoon is reserved for a Sprint Review, Townhall Meeting and subsequent social hour.
In this role you will
-
Be present in our Dresden office for at least 3 days per week.
-
Coach several agile teams within our agile development environment, including distributed teams.
-
Shape the further improvement of our agile processes.
-
Be responsible for assisting in scaling our agile processes and development teams.
-
Also be responsible for organizing and moderating our scrum events (daily, planning, review, retrospective).
-
You will work closely with other scrum masters, our development team, the group manager, the product owner and our in-house customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a university degree with a technical, social or economic orientation (e.g. psychology, economics, communication science, natural sciences, informatics, physics) or a comparable course of study.
- You can demonstrate several years of experience in agile software development and have already worked as a Scrum Master.
- A Scrum or a similar agile certification would be of advantage, however bringing an agile mindset is more important.
- It would be advantageous if you also have experience in scaled agile environments.
- It would also be beneficial if you are already familiar with other agile methods (Kanban, XP, Lean Development, etc.).
- You actively seek potentials for improvement and exchange ideas with your colleagues.
- You are highly proficient in written and spoken English.
