The Scrum Master- Software Engineering for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Promoting and facilitating application of Scrum Framework within the team and with the actors of the project. He or She will also be responsible to Design, develop, and implement effective methods of verification and troubleshooting systems and equipment.

This position reports to the Software Engineering manager of Clinical informatics product and is part of the Digital Solutions R&D group located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Promote the Scrum framework and ensure the effective execution of ceremonies within the Agile team. Helping the scrum team to solve impediments
• Helping the development team to stay focused on priorities given by the Product Owner.
• Developing and sustaining Visual Management and being proactive in problem solving as support of continuous improvement
• Develop test plans/protocols, write test scenarios and Document test execution results.
• Build and sustain tools to monitor Scrum KPIs and facilitate the generation of software development lifecycle documentation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years proven experience in Scrum methodology & software development activities.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Scrum Master Role with the ability to understand, to strictly respect and to map a development process within the boundaries of Scrum.
• Ability to drive and motivate self-managing teams. As leader you must have good communication skills
• Advance experience in verification activities for complex software systems including end-to-end traceability and system testing,
• Advance experience in scripting languages like Python, shell, Java script.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• A functional knowledge of healthcare laboratories would be appreciated
• An experience on development process in regulated environment (ISO 9000, 13485/FDA), ideally in medical devices IEC 62304 would be very appreciated
