Position Summary
ECS is seeking a Scrum Master - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding enterprise application development teams through Agile methodologies, ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical software solutions. This position involves leading Agile execution, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and maintaining alignment with DevSecOps practices to achieve program objectives. The Scrum Master will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment that enhances team performance and supports the ARNG's strategic goals.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective Agile execution.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Track and analyze team velocity and performance metrics to optimize delivery processes.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, promoting an efficient workflow.
- Enforce Agile discipline and best practices, ensuring adherence to DevSecOps principles.
- Coordinate with development teams and leadership to maintain predictable release cycles and transparent reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and delivery outcomes.
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Ensure mission-aligned delivery by maintaining focus on strategic objectives and key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Agile software development within DoD or Federal IT environments
- Proven experience leading Agile teams, including facilitation of key Agile ceremonies
- Demonstrated ability to track team performance metrics and maintain transparent development reporting
- Experience in removing technical and organizational impediments to support team efficiency
- Strong coordination skills with Product Owners, developers, and program leadership
Skills Required
