The Scrum Master/Project Manager is responsible for implementing agile processes, coaching teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and improving project management practices while ensuring transparency and communication across teams.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for creating and improving these agile processes within a team.
• Responsible to coach, mentor and guide consultants to figure out the
best solutions for their specific Project challenges.
• Work with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices.
• Guide teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met
• Lead agile workshops for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders
• Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching
• Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model across the scrum teams
• Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across teams

Essential Skills
• Total IT Experience – 13+ years
• The Scrum Master will facilitate the Scrum ceremonies and adopt Scrum framework through coaching, training and guiding the team.
• Participate in retrospectives, standups and planning meetings
• Identify blockers and keep team motivated by having 1:1 discussion
• Provide coaching for transitioning team from traditional to agile delivery practices.
• Support and guide the product owner in properly managing the backlog.
• Aid the team in determining suitable commitments for product backlog items and sprints.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by identifying the appropriate source/resolution.
• Enable the team to self-organize and fill in the intentional gaps left in the agile/scrum frameworks.
• Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Understand and coach processes to the team.
• Evaluate the scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and adapt to changes.
• Coordinate and lead teams in cross-functional collaborations and communicate status to management as needed scrum certified, SAFe certified
• Continuous follow up and dedicated responsibility to ensure sprint closure.
• Proven record of creating new successful processes and improving existing ones.
• Experience in project risk management and financial management
• Excellent written and oral communication.
Essential Qualification
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical discipline or other project certification.
• Scrum Master certification.
