Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks to find a Software Engineer supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit. This position is located in Aurora, CO.
We are seeking a certified Scrum Master to guide one of our high‑performing software delivery teams. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles. This role partners closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule. The Scrum Master is a servant-leader who enables high-performing Agile teams to deliver value reliably and predictably. The ideal candidate will have excellent facilitation, conflict‑resolution, and communication skills; ability to influence without authority. And must be comfortable interpreting metrics and using data to drive decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 3 (Principal): Bachelors degree with 5 years of relative experience; Masters with 3 years of relative experience; 1 year with PhD; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Level 4 (Sr. Principal): Bachelors degree with 8 years of relative experience; Masters with 6 years of relative experience; 3 years with PhD; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Candidate must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
Strong Agile knowledge.
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile engineering practices (CI/CD, TDD, ATDD).
Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tooling.
Experience working directly with the Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Configuration Managements, Integration Test and Development teams
Understanding Java Programming Language to support design and implementation.
Understanding of Git to support releases, patching, pipeline, developer support, etc.)
Understanding of Kubernetes/Helm expertise (Required for support of deployments, environment support, and IT&D integration, etc.)
Understanding of Databases (Experience with one of the following: Elastic, Mongo, MySQL)
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Scrum certification (CSM‑II, PSM II/III) or SAFe Agilist.
Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Coaching experience for multiple concurrent Scrum teams.
