Scrum Master III (f/t)

Job Description:

• Leading Scrum teams across multiple products - IT Service Management (ITSM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), HR and Banking CSM;
• Working with Business owners to document user stories to be delivered in each sprint release;
• Working with the Developers to estimate the work required for each user story;
• Working with the product owners to prioritize user stories and ensure completeness of user stories;
• Leading in planning the contents of each Sprint cycle;
• Holding daily Scrum meetings to ensure deliverables are tracking to plan;
• Tracking risk and other issues and ensuring they are resolved promptly;
• Working with the Business owners to build test plans to test user stories effectively;
• Ensuring the user stories align correctly with the ServiceNow capabilities.
• ServiceNow is the industry-leading cloud platform provider for building enterprise applications;
• Working with the release management team to ensure all implementation activities are planned and executed before production deployment;
• Ensuring users are appropriately notified and trained on new capabilities being delivered;
• Understanding the ServiceNow technology for the product supported to ensure we stay aligned with the ServiceNow roadmap capabilities; and
• Other duties as assigned.
• Part-time telecommuting is permitted.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent* in computer science, information systems, or a closely related technical field and two (2) years of experience in a software development occupation.

• One (1) year of experience in an agile environment, such as SAFe.
• One (1) year of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying Agile principles, practices, theory, and Scrum Values.
• One (1) year of experience with Jira or other tools (Jira Align) utilized in an agile development environment.
• One (1) year of experience generating Metrics and Reports using Jira and other project management tools.
• One (1) year of ServiceNow platform experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge** with widely successful Agile techniques, including but not limited to User Stories.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted.

**Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience. References required.

Work location: 864 Spring St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Annual salary: $110,546 to $138,000.00.
